Dr. Underwood practices general urology and treats both male and female patients. She has special interest in kidney stone disease, prostate health, enlarged prostate, overactive bladder and both male and female sexual dysfunction.
She is a proud wife and mother of two children. She is a native of Louisiana and is an outdoor enthusiast. When not working she can be found spending time with her family. Dr. Underwood enjoys college sports and remains an LSU tiger fan at heart. She enjoys skiing, acrylic painting, reading, and antique shopping.
Dr. Underwood is a member of the American Urological Association as well as the Texas Urological Society.
One of the many reasons that Dr. Underwood loves the field of urology is that she can form a meaningful and lasting relationship with patients. Urology is a unique field in which she can help patients both medically and surgically. She is passionate about patient education and encourages her patients to take an active role in their urological care. What sets her apart is that she treats patients like family and takes the time to thoroughly explain urologic conditions and treatment options.
